Bob began his work in tribal economic development in 2009 as a member of the Nisqually Shareholder’s Committee. He later served on the Nisqually Board of Economic Development and was appointed CEO in 2014. In 2017, he helped lead the merger of that entity into MCEC, forming a comprehensive management group overseeing retail, hospitality, construction, and communications enterprises.
In addition to his business leadership, Bob has served on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards and is a retired 45-year member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. His background in the trades informs his dedication to workforce development and fair labor practices.
Bob is a proud graduate of Tumwater High School, holds a B.S. in Business Management from Western Governors University, and earned his Executive MBA from the Washington State University Carson School of Business. He has championed corporate responsibility, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development throughout his career.
